You know the type, those pale, clammy, quiet kids that only mumble and look down when you address them, and once you finally get to talk to them they hit you with the weirdest most inarticulate probably-made-sense-in-their-head word bombs about the KotetsuxBarnaby doujinshi they're in the middle of creating. I've met that kid, hell, I've been that kid.
All in all I'm rooting for Tomoko, I wanna be her friend, I want her to triumph over evil. I can relate to her on some level and I hope this show isn't just a slice of life showing the daily misfortunes of this poor, antisocial soul but that there's some character development, cause I honestly don't know how much I can laugh at a girl who's a painfully realistic example of what a lot if kids got through in high school. Having said that there's some moments that are actually really funny and I think the exchanges with her brother are pure gold.
